Tell us a little bit about your ideas for your barrel art and experience painting non-traditional objects. *

I understand that: *

Artwork does not need to have an environmental theme. However, avoid designs of a political, religious or sexual nature. The paint on the rain barrels takes much longer to dry than typical artist mediums. I will avoid heavy layering of paint and thick areas, as it results in the paint peeling up. When my barrel is fully dried (at least 48 hours), I will apply at least two coats of protectant (provided). I will let the barrel fully dry between coats (24 hours). I should have completed painting by July 1st to allow for top coats and one full week of drying time before delivery back to the drop off location. Once my barrel is painted, top coated, and dry, I must return my barrel, in the original box to the drop off location by July 7th. I am 18+ years old (as of April 1st, 2023)
